Design Sales Consultants

Wickes is the best kept secret in the Kitchen and Bathroom design market. Building on the success of our TV advertising campaign, we are looking for exceptional people with engaging personalities, who can help our customers visualise and build their dream.

THE ROLE
Our Design Sales Consultants take the customer through the journey from initial enquiry through to design consultation and finally implementation. They explain different product options to suit customers taste and budgets, using Planit/CAD software to plan how it would look in their home, providing advice about installation and finance, to help them complete their project. A kitchen or bathroom is a big investment and therefore our Design Sales Consultants must be able to deliver outstanding customer service whilst being sales driven and focused on achieving targets.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking candidates with:
• A solid (non aggressive) sales background, ideally gained within the kitchen or bathroom design industry.
• A proven track record of achievement in a customer facing and sales driven environment with experience of working to personal sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commercially aware
• Ability to build rapport and interpret the customers ideas into an inspirational and practical design that captures their imagination
• The ability to generate new customer relationships and build those relationships to proactively secure sales.
• Flexibility to cover store opening hours including early/late shifts and weekends on a rota basis
• A valid UK Driving Licence so you can visit customers in their homes to confirm measurements as required.
