We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Administrator to join our team in Head Office on a permanent basis.
The purpose of the role is to support the Commercial teams and the wider business by delivering business critical analysis, and allowing the business to practice data led decision making. This role is primarily a data entry role and includes key responsibilities such as; collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information.
Key Responsibilities:
See your product through its journey from its original source, anywhere in the world, right through to it being put onto the shelves in one of our stores
Maintain and update records within various management information systems
Update the system with products discounts/support on a regular basis
Assist Pricing Manager with general queries relating to pricing
Day to day responsibilities including liaison with commercial teams, creating information to ensure our products are correctly inputted into the system
Working across various different systems within the role so it important for you to be detail oriented
Dealing with sensitive nature on a day to day basis
You will have to work to tight deadlines
From day one you can expect to be trusted with real responsibility, as this role is vital within our business.
Provide administrative support to ensure all pricing requirements are met within set SLA`s
Responsible for the conversion and uploading of price changes
Specific responsibilities - Product
See your product through its journey from its original source, anywhere in the world, right through to it being put onto the shelves in one of our stores
Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
Apply data program techniques and procedures
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
Scan documents and print files, when needed
Keep information confidential
Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
Specific responsibilities - Price
Update the system with products discounts/support on a regular basis
Assist Pricing Manager with general queries relating to pricing
Provide administrative support to ensure all pricing requirements are met within set SLA`s
Responsible for the conversion and uploading of price changes
Receiving and evaluating pricing information from suppliers
Analysing cost changes and the potential impact on the business
Managing product and pricing data on the in-house systems
Working with colleagues to decide costing strategies
Calculating process for customers
Managing customer requirements and resolving queries
Resolving pricing issues
What are we looking for:
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have good time management, enjoy problem solving and have a cheerful office demeanour. As a part of a hard working, dedicated team you will need the confidence to build relationships, be prepared to work at pace, hold your own under pressure and most of all not be afraid to get stuck in. We are also looking for:
Extensive administration or retail experience
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, methodical and has high attention to detail
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Self-motivated and able to problem solve
Highly proficient in IT systems - MS Applications
Ability to understand and write technical documentation
Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or Office clerk
Experience with MS Office and data programs
Familiarity with administrative duties
Experience using office equipment
Typing speed and accuracy
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
Confidentiality
Organisation skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Office based role as it requires constant communication with Commercial teams and adhoc meeting inside the team
