The role;

As an Optimisation Executive, you will play a key role in the Ecommerce Trading team. You will be responsible for optimising the customer journey on our  website. This new role will see you responsible for driving forward the Wickes Conversion Rate Optimisation programme and delivering changes to the site which drives acquisition, revenue and conversion. All your actions will be based on data, which you will gather from various platforms such Power Reviews, Google Analytics and our Optimisation and Personalisation tool. With tracking and testing in place, you``ll be at home reporting to management with the ability to turn the pages of numerical data into key facts, insights and actions.

Key areas of Responsibility;

  • Work with Ecommerce Trading  team to support commercial trading plans for specific campaigns and make recommendations to drive conversion.

  • Utilise analytic reports, surface trends and themes in the data and offer insight & recommendations to improve conversion through customer journey and usability enhancements.

  • Responsible for all CRO roadmaps and sharing the information with relevant stakeholders.

  • Create test hypothesis and develop briefs and end to end testing process.

  • Using Google Analytics to analyse trends to produce actionable insights.

  • Engage with social channels to drive traffic and conversion to the site.

  • Analyse results and make recommendations for changes and future tests.

  • Manage and continue to develop a relationship with Power reviews

  • Improve processes internal and external for reviews.

  • Responsible for delivering and owning the Review incentive.
