HR Business Partner - South

Wickes are currently recruiting for an established HR Business Partner to partner with our Southern Divisional Director who will proactively lead, support and add value in building and delivering a visible and effective people strategy.

The Role:

Supporting our South Division as HR Business Partner you will help drive the division through bringing our people strategy together.

Wickes have a strong people led culture and as such this isn’t a traditional HR role, you will be commercially focused, able to balance both a strategic viewpoint with the ability to deliver hands on solutions and be comfortable developing relationships out in our stores as well as with our leadership teams.

Partnering across with the Divisional Director across multiple locations, you’ll have a clear understanding of what drives our businesses, the market and how this impacts the delivery of our people agenda. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to coach and challenge and you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our leadership capability through succession plans as well as delivering our people plans.

What we’re looking for:

As a HR Business Partner you will have experience in multi-faceted and multi site roles, ideally within retail and have a proven track record of working closely with senior leadership teams to co-create the business strategy and plans to deliver business performance.

You will be organised, enjoy working at pace and be an excellent communicator with experience in change management and possess a continuous improvement outlook. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to easily engage with colleagues at all levels and building strong working relationships is key to your success.
