Job Description

Wickes are currently looking for an analytical and systems savvy Learning & Development Administrator to join us in our friendly and expanding Talent & Development team in Watford.


The role we're recruiting for;


Reporting to our Talent Manager, your main focus will be supporting the Talent & Development team with our LMS system and information as well as day to day activities, such as planning and organising, team and business communications, projects and other administrative duties.


This is a transitional role into a Learning or Resourcing careers within the Travis Perkins Group and the role will evolve to create opportunities to develop in role.


Principal Accountabilities


  • Becoming an expert across all of the Wickes and Travis Perkins Learning & Talent systems
  • Being the 'go to' person for all queries
  • Co-ordinating training activities and logging attendance 
  • Booking and arranging of travel and accomodation for delegates 
  • Supporting the Resourcing team with scheduling of interviews, onboarding of new starters and ensuring our colleagues get a smooth start to their career journey with Wickes 
  • Confidential project support 
  • Supporting the wider Talent team with day to day queries 
       

What we’re looking for…


  • Computer literate with experience of Google

  • An anaytical mindset comfortable using various systems / software

  • Typing skills, and accuracy it is essential to have great organisational skills

  • Excellent grammar and numeracy

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Some HR knowledge or Head Office working environment experience
