Role purpose

  • To ensure all aspects of multichannel supply chain administration are managed effectively, accurately and consistently.

  • To manage and execute key activities including modelling supply chain and fulfilment costings for new SKU introductions and fulfilment route changes.

Key Accountabilities

  • To run all proposed new SKUs through fulfilment cost modelling tools for all relevant Wickes fulfilment routes, and present for sign-off.

  • To maintain, update and improve the existing fulfilment cost modelling tools

  • To administer and develop effective and user-friendly reporting in support of new SKU launch activity

  • To communicate to all relevant stakeholders regarding the outcome of the costing process

  • To support all stakeholders with expert knowledge as required

  • To provide administrative support within the Ranging and Multichannel supply team

Key Stakeholders

  • Stores Distribution Centre, Home Delivery Centre and Multi-Channel Fulfilment Centre Operations teams

  • Category Supply Managers

  • Inbound planning team

  • Commercial Category teams

  • Others as required

What we are looking for in you?


  • Experience  in Administrative support

  • Demonstrable analytical skills.

  • Intermediate Excel & Google Sheets skills

  • Ability to report and present accurate information to show business impact and make first stage recommendations based on this information

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise and methodically structure own workload

  • Ability to cope with peaks and troughs in workload

  • Ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures


  • Previous experience in Product Supply / Logistics

  • Basic knowledge of distribution operations

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Able to persuasively support his/her position with analysis, facts and arguments

  • Proven influencing skills

  • Ability to design and implement improvements to processes
