THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE IN THE UK WORKING FROM YOUR NEAREST WICKES STORE

The role
You’ll create innovative designs and help our business to business customers create dream rooms that suit their clients. A chance to help us deliver on our commitment to help the nation feel house proud. Where you can be yourself, do your best work and make a positive difference every day.
You will be responsible for designing tailor-made rooms for large projects that can be anywhere from 10 up to 100 rooms in one location. You’ll work closely with the business to business team working on multiple projects looking to inspire our customers, gain their dream design projects and help to achieve sales by offering exceptional customer experience and creating innovative designs This is a chance to help us deliver on our commitment to help the nation feel house proud.

This role is a 6 month Secondment with the opportunity to become permanent.  

Full Time, 39 hours per week Mon-Fri (no weekend working)

About you
  • Customer Focus: With great communication skills and natural curiosity, you will genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers & colleagues
  • Sales Experience: You thrive working towards targets, are motivated to achieve and be at your best 
  • Tenacity & Creativity: to overcome and learn from challenges, to ‘do the right thing’ in the right way
  • A valid UK driving licence: You must be able to visit customers in their homes, bringing tools and materials with you for home measures and design visits.
