This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Wickes as we embark on this journey in becoming our very own Plc. As a result of this, our HR department is looking to expand and we are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for two HR Systems & MI Analysts to join our brand new shared services department, based in Northampton.

These roles will focus on ensuring that people reporting is delivered accurately and on time using HR systems and reporting tools, to take the reported data and help stakeholders understand what insights are helpful to improving work for our people or for our customers. Administering the HR Systems (e.g. user set up, structure changes), performing user testing (e.g. upgrades)  and liaising with IT when appropriate. Act as a HR systems specialist stakeholder on projects implementing new HR systems or impacting HR data. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Production and insights for cyclical reporting namely gender pay, LTO, Sickness,starters, leavers, changes, time to hire etc and be able to produce adhoc reports and insights at pace. 

  • To create meaningful data analytic, metrics and reporting solutions for the HR Team to assist in continuous business improvement and service levels

  • Administer & maintain governance for HR systems e.g. user set up, hierarchy changes, process user requests in line with HR governance, system testing for upgrades

  • Provide HR data and systems specialist knowledge on projects involving new or upgraded HR Systems and involved in designing tools and processes for how we manage the data production for annual salary reviews and annual bonus payments 

  • Working with other departmental analysts to provide joined up business intelligence reporting methodology and ensuring that data is accurate

  • Provide Support to ensure that colleagues are set up and paid correctly e.g. pre-hires outstanding. Recommended system improvements to increase efficiencies and improve the Line Manager’s experience e.g. identify improvements in Walkme software, identify coaching required in using HR system correctly or where refresher training is required

What are we looking for:

  • Experience of working with HR Systems and completing HRMI analytics

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel such as pivot tables, Table & Formatting, Advanced Charting, Macros 

  • Data visualization and managing stakeholder understanding of Mi data

  • Ability to interpret data and not just create files

  • Knowledge or experience with integrations or interface processes would be beneficial

  • Ideally have knowledge of HR, L&D, payroll and pensions data
