We are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to join our brand-new, growing PMO!  You'll be essential in supporting our Lead of PMO to drive the successful delivery of projects across the entire Tech function during an exciting digital growth phase.

This role will give a driven and experienced individual the opportunity to really stretch themselves and support our Lead PMO to ensure the successful delivery of the projects and programmes across our Tech function. The Role:
  • Support the Delivery Product Managers and Heads of Product to ensure that projects are set up for success with the appropriate governance for scale and complexity of change, with regular project health checks, activities and deliverables prepared as a project progresses through the project lifecycle.
  • Experience in Financial management including budgeting, forecasting, actuals and analysis.
  • You’ll have exposure or knowledge of using waterfall and/or agile approaches to deliver projects and will know how to proactively identify areas for process improvement.
  • You’ll agree and compile regular project and programme reporting, analysing agreed KPI’s and making suggestions where needed.
  • Support Head of PMO and delivery teams with escalations and decision making to overcome any issues
  • With previous knowledge and understanding of business needs in a PMO environment, you will have the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence and work closely with key stakeholders, senior leadership, and 3rd party vendors.

Does this sound like you?
  • A confident, self starter with the ability to establish and maintain high level customer trust and confidence.
  • Working at pace, with a sense of urgency and to be able to commit to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity.
  • You will be both tenacious and methodical in your approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset (specifically Jira/Confluence) would be beneficial
  • Exposure to PPM tools such as Monday.com (preferred), Clarity, Planview, etc. would be advantageous
  • Wickes applies both waterfall and agile methodologies to deliver projects. Therefore experience working across these would be beneficial.
