The team:
Installing a dream Kitchen or Bathroom is one of the biggest things we do for our customers. Our Installations team manages that whole journey, from the first measurement to the final fitting. You’ll be based in the office, supporting our network of installers and apprentices to ensure every project is a success. It’s a role focused on teamwork, organisation, and great communication, making sure we deliver a "wow" moment for every customer.

You'll learn:
  • How our Team Leaders and Coordinators keep hundreds of projects on track.
  • Essential business skills, from spreadsheet management to professional communication.
  • The power of planning, organisation, and working as one "Winning Team."
What you’ll do:
  • Spend time within different teams within the Installation Department
  • Sit in on Team meetings 
  • Sit in on our Feel at Home Committee
Who we’re looking for:
What matters most to us is your positive attitude and potential. And you’d need the following:
  • Be 16 years or over
  • A positive energy and you like a fast-paced environment!
  • You’re curious about how business works
  • You’ve got good communication skills
What we offer:
Our work experience is a voluntary placement focused on your personal development. While there is no salary, we’ll cover for your lunch  and travel each day.

Our recruitment process

  1. Apply: Upload your CV and tell us why you’re interested in joining Wickes.
  2. Interview: A short online chat during the week commencing 18 May so we get to know each other better.
  3. Start of your work experience: join us for an action-packed week from Monday 6 to Friday 10 July 2026.
