We are thrilled to be recruiting for a Multichannel Analyst to join our team in our Support Centre in Watford. Lining into the Multichannel Analytics, SEO & Insight Manager, the main purpose of the role is to support the Multichannel team and the wider business through delivering business critical analysis, allowing the business to practice data led decision making. Achieve this by clear and concise communication of occasionally complex information, suitable for various audiences, to support the Multichannel team on a wide variety of areas. 


Key responsibilities:

 

  • Analysing and pulling meaningful insights across all areas of ecommerce, including Trading, Digital Marketing, Development and Customer experience

  • The role will involve regular reporting on our core KPI’s; analysing conversion, traffic and ATV performance

  • You will enhance insights by merging web analytics data with additional data sources from all the different customer touch points

  • Create relevant dashboards to communicate data and insight in a simple way, to increase visibility across a variety of areas

  • Extract data via Google BigQuery to mine, analyse and present back findings to the business

  • Work with the trading team to define the testing road map & support from a measurement perspective

  • Assist in delivering the SEO stream of work, partnering with a third party agency to maximise brand presence online for Wickes

  • Championing use of data and insight to make decisions across the wider team

  • You will help manage the Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts

  • Get involved in wider business projects where data is key i.e. PIM

  • You will support the Insight & Analytics manager in delivering the short/medium term data strategy


What are we looking for?


The ideal candidate will be adaptable, have good time management, enjoy problem solving and have a cheerful office demeanour. As a part of a hard working, dedicated team you will need the confidence to build relationships, be prepared to work at pace, hold your own under pressure and most of all not be afraid to get stuck in. We are also looking for:


  • Proven web analytics experience - Google Analytics/GA360, Adobe Analytics

  • Proven commercial experience with Google Tag Manager

  • Commercial experience with visualisation, reporting and optimisation tools (Data Studio)

  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML and JavaScript (specific experience with Google BigQuery is preferable)

  • Good working knowledge of SEO and other digital marketing channels

  • Commercial mentality with good communication and presentation skills of complex data to a diverse audience

  • Proactive approach and a willingness to uncover actionable insight, with the customer always being front of mind

  • Mathematical/statistical background is a bonus but not essential
