The team:
Ever wondered how thousands of products get to the right place at the right time? That’s the magic of our Distributions team. You’ll get a hands-on look at our logistics, from how we store stock in the warehouse to how we plan the most efficient routes for our delivery fleet. It’s a vital part of our business where safety, speed, and smart technology meet to keep our stores stocked and our customers happy.
You'll learn:
- The day-to-day life of our warehouse teams and how they keep the business moving.
- How we use high-tech Warehouse Management Systems to track every single item.
- The logistics of fleet management: getting our trucks from A to B safely and on time.
- Why safety and compliance are the most important things we do in Distribution.
What you’ll do:
- Shadow all departments to get the full experience of the distribution teams
- Work with our teams and get a great understanding of how each department works
- Cross over from our Stores Distribution side to see how our E-Commerce teams work together and have the full customer experience explained.
Who we’re looking for:
What matters most to us is your positive attitude and potential. And you’d need the following:
- Be 16 years or over
- A positive energy and you like a fast-paced environment!
- You’re curious about how business works
- You’ve got good communication skills
What we offer:
Our work experience is a voluntary placement focused on your personal development. While there is no salary, we’ll cover for your lunch and travel each day.
