Here at Wickes we are thrilled to announce we are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Verification Clerk, to join our Finance Team in Watford.

 

The main purpose of the role will involve processing of supplier invoices, from scanning, email, verification and improving processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate information and correct back-up documentation in readiness for scanning

  • Assist invoice verification team with processing of invoices in Kofax

  • Maintains files, documentation and records thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and good practice

  • Support the BAU Team with vendor queries

 

What are we looking for:

  • Solid experience of accounts payable practices and procedures

  • Experience of working with Kofax

  • Must demonstrate a proactive mindset

  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure as an individual and as part of the team

  • Can adapt quickly to change and demonstrate a flexible approach to work

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong skills in problem-solving and resolution

  • Able to multitask

  • Strong communicator, both in writing and in person

  • Ability to follow procedures.
