We are looking for a passionate individual to join our E-commerce Trading function, who will be responsible for optimising the customer journey on our website, identifying new areas of opportunity, executing digital marketing strategies to reinforce our brand identity and ultimately drive revenue and increase conversion within the business.

Digital Experience and Content
Brand and Social Marketing
Digital Marketing and CRM.
Digital Development, UX, UI
Third Party Suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
Put the customer at the heart of everything you do and prioritise effectively, using data and insights to drive decisions.
Lead all onsite merchandising commercial decisions in line with the Wickes Trading plan for the Kitchen, Bathroom and Decorative business unit with the objective of driving commercial success through decision making, by delivering best in class website experience.
We expect this individual to be an experienced E-commerce Trading Manager who is passionate in driving performance, who will be able to confidently elevate existing E-commerce initiatives as well as identifying new areas of opportunity.
Own and deliver strategic guidance on web trading and site experience best practices; collaboratively reach decisions and implement growth strategies, through our A/B testing platform, improving our customer experience through UX and UI.
Maximising campaigns by providing ad-hoc analysis on the performance of all Trading activity, including consideration of Customer segmentation and Testing.
Work with the Digital Marketing Managers to ensure that the trading strategies are supported by the adequate marketing for all channels including Email, PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Display and Retargeting.
Ensure all site redesign activities are in line with commercial and consumer needs through data and incorporating best in class website usability. Also, work closely with customer experience and brand marketing to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
Responsible for third party solutions that deliver cross-sell and upsell product recommendations on the site. By using a test and learning process ensure you own and deliver incremental gains throughout the year using these tools.
Oversee the management and continuously improve on-site search results by analysing the usage and share insights to the wider eCommerce team.
Managing one direct report within the E-commerce trading function.
What are we looking for:
Experience:
3 years e-commerce experience in similar role
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Strong commercial acumen and financial competence
Skills:
Proven influencing skills across all levels of business (including board level)
Exceptional collaboration skills. Bringing together cross functional groups of people
Experience using Google Analytics (or similar web analytics) to identify trends and take appropriate actions
An understanding of SEO, and the impact of actions on search visibility
Highly motivated with a professional attitude. Able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines in a face paced environment.
Knowledge:
Web Merchandising
External best practice in development of trading plans and marketing
calendars
Website analytics platforms
