We are looking to recruit a Facilities Management Supervisor to join our Store Delivery Distribution Centre based in Northampton.

The FM Supervisor will be responsible for the remote supervision of any contractors working on the site and ensuring the required standards are achieved and maintained at all times. It will be a key part of the role to build and develop good working relationships with all contractors, operational Managers and other local stakeholders. This is a hands-on position and general maintenance skills will be required. This role is varied and supports a team of practical facilitators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contractor engagement.

  • Ensure that the CAFM system is up to date and complete at all times.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements (property related).

  • Ensure contractor compliance and high standards of works.

  • First approver for expenditure invoices (over £1.5k), track expenditure against the budget throughout the year and advise the relevant teams of any deviations from budget (positive or negative).

  • Keep the FM work diary and contractor schedules up to date.

  • Support in all investigations involving any incidents / accidents which are property related.

  • Make sure all RAMS, Quotes and estimates are stored correctly and received in a timely fashion. 

  • Communicate FM / PPM works directly with Distribution colleagues.

  • Manage live works job sheets and PPM schedule in conjunction with the Wickes and Savills teams. 

  • Systematically audit processes and procedures.

  • 24 hours on call support where required (rota will be discussed)

  • Resolve any reactive work required for the sites.

  • Interrogate all relevant KPi’s and SLA’s in accordance with the current PMA.

  • Managing the onsite Facilities teams Annual Leave / absence monitoring & working hours.

What are we looking for?

  • N.E.B.O.S.H General certificate (desirable / willing to work towards)

  • IWFM Level 3 or above (desirable / willing to work towards)

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Self motivated and capable to operate with clear goals under minimum supervision.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.

  • Excellent knowledge of Google Docs and Office applications.

  • Reliable and Excellent time keeping.

  • An eye for detail.

  • Flexibility with hours

  • Confidence to challenge where necessary
