We’re looking for an SEO executive to join us within our Digital & CRM Marketing team. You’ll manage the SEO channel alongside both our SEO & SEO Local agencies. You’ll work cross functionally with other teams in Multichannel, which includes our Trading, Digital Experience and Development teams, to ensure we’re best in class when it comes to our SEO strategy and output!
Main accountabilities
* You’ll work closely with key stakeholders ensuring we’re always producing high quality SEO content in an effective and strategic manner
*Developing and managing work streams between Wickes & the SEO agency to ensure our content and optimisation strategies are aligned with the Multichannel objectives
*Ensuring our website is technically sound and maintaining general technical health checks
*Building & maintaining a close relationship with our Local SEO agency, ensuring we are maximising our local visibility in the SERP and identifying other potential opportunities to assist in driving improvements in the channel
*Constantly checking search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor performance of the Wickes website and make recommendations for improvement
*Working with the Paid Search team to create a harmonious environment for both SEO & PPC to deliver a successful search strategy
*Working closely with the Digital & CRM Analytics team to create robust reporting & channel opportunity/development plans through the utilisation of the Google stack (predominantly Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Data Studio)
What are we looking for:
We’re looking for a colleague who can demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and build relationships across the business and with external stakeholders. You’ll have a good understanding of SEO and preferably some demonstrable work experience. Ideally, you’ll have worked with Google web analytics tools (Google Analytics and Google Search Console) and be used to meeting tight deadlines. You’ll be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills including copywriting along with experience of managing projects.
