We’re looking for someone who can engage all levels of the business, create, present and articulate business changing insight which influences strategic decisions and can bring to life digital and customer data reporting to help the team track and measure performance. The Multichannel Analytics & Insight Manager will sit within the Digital & CRM Marketing Team and be responsible for managing customer analytics and data insight as part of the Multichannel business. The role will require cross functional working with other teams in Multichannel, including Trading, Design & Content and Development teams, while working with other stakeholders in our Marketing and Commercial departments to support their data and analytics needs.
Responsible for management of the full reporting framework and analytics suite for the Wickes Multichannel business, including product ownership of all reporting and utilising automation wherever possible.
Using analytics to understand and optimise the efficacy of different digital marketing channels to drive performance.
Responsible for managing customer analytics and data insight within Multichannel, leveraging data to surface insight and understand customer behaviour which drives action through marketing
Providing ongoing market leading insight to help inform the product development roadmap for Trading, Digital Marketing and UX while improving performance in these areas.
Work with the CRM Customer Database manager and our Customer Data Platform to join up digital channels by leveraging CRM data through the Google Marketing Cloud
Overseeing, managing, auditing and providing guidance on web analytics and web analytics tools (specifically Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, SimilarWeb)
Work with agency partners (CRM Agency, Analytics Agency, Digital Marketing Agency) to support the big objectives of the multichannel team
Ownership of all onsite and third party tag implementation and core web vitals
Line management of x 1 Multichannel Analyst
What are we looking for:
Experience of using data to uncover insight and drive action presenting results in a simple way.
Extensive knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and other products within the Google Marketing Platform.
Experience of using and maximise role of Similar Web in providing web traffic analytic
Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Data Studio etc.
Strong SQL, with experience using SAS, BigQuery or others tools.
Strong stakeholder and agency management – liaising with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues/risks.
Experience of working with development teams, utilising project management tools such as Jira.
Strong Excel skills and experience using VBA to automate processes.
