ROLE PURPOSE 
  • Lead, manage and mentor the Corrective Action Team within the Installation function. 
  • Manage a cohort of Managers to deliver high standards of internal and external customer service 
  • Ensure company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements are followed by all colleagues 
  • Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure service effectiveness 
  • Develop programs to improve technical and customer service skills across the teams
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES 
  • Complete robust forecasting and capacity planning to ensure the teams are adequately resourced 
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure delivery of targets within the agreed budget 
  • Identify any skills gaps in the team and undertake a recruitment programme to support this 
  • Support the Quality Team with maintaining all departmental contracts, ways of working and documentation 
  • Support the Apprenticeship Team with the development of graduates through the CAT Team where appropriate Collaborate with Field Installations department as required in order to support the wider management and development of the Wickes Approved Installer Network 
  • Complete a training needs analysis across the teams to ensure all members are adequately trained 
  • Ensure key performance indicators are in place and service level agreements are monitored  
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement initiatives in support of the Installation strategy and DIFM business plan 
  • Address internal and external customer queries, investigate and resolve issues; feedback proactively 
  • Act as liaison with the Field Installations department, keeping them up to date on service performance 
  • Track and monitor team performance using internal reporting; coordinate performance review activities for all colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 
  • Experience of managing field based teams at a senior level in the services sector within the last 12-18 months Google related platforms e.g sheets, docs, slides, forms 2 
  • Responsibility for influencing and motivating others to contribute to the goals and success of the team and wider organisation 
  • Execution of business plans and objectives aligned to the wider business strategy 
  • Responsibility for cost containment 
  • Responsibility for risk assessment and mitigation within an organisation 
  • Working within different teams and understanding a variety of roles and responsibilities 
  • Working on projects and used to taking ownership of own streams whilst demonstrating flexibility an and collaboration when required 
  • Working with digitised platforms, apps and other technology in a similar role
SKILLS & ABILITIES 
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to create reports and analyse data 
  • Ability to work in an environment of rapid change and demonstrate strong resilience to uncertainty 
  • Ability to adjust own approach according to others style in order to maximise output 
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks to agreed timescales 
  • Willingness to take responsibility, own tasks and deliver on time 
  • Ability to work quickly, with excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and a methodical approach, even under pressure 
  • Ability to use own initiative and take proactive actions to resolve problems 
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team 
  • Able to listen to feedback, learn and adapt on style accordingly 
  • Flexible approach to working methods
