Packaging Artworker

We are thrilled to announce we are recruiting for a Packaging Artworker to join our growing Marketing team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role will be to work with the Packaging Lead and the Studio manager to assist in the day to day delivery of all Own Brand packaging creative for Wickes. 

This role will suit someone who is a creative, eager person; who works well across teams, and will proactively come up with creative ideas for assets we could use for our social platforms.  They will be active and excited by social media creative, constantly looking for new ways to bring our products and offers to life. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our marketing team to update our own label branded packaging

• Convert approved designs into manufacturer packaging solutions

• Create all artwork for all packaging requirements

• Create an array of different product packaging; from basic essentials in a variety of categories

• Working closely with the Packaging Lead to take from concepts to creation

• Working closely with Commercial teams/QA where needed

• Reviewing artwork to ensure it meets, or exceeds, the brief, is on brand and drives the Wickes brand forward

• Working with Studio Co-Ordinator and brief owners to ensure briefs and feedback are met and received on time.
