We’ve created a new opportunity for a Retail Media Marketing Manager to join our team for a period of 12 months. You’ll lead the end-to-end client experience for the innovative Wickes Connected Retail Media proposition. This is a dynamic role at the forefront of a new, fast-paced area of the business. You will be responsible for leveraging our new technology partner, developing bespoke multi-channel campaigns for prospective brand partners, and overseeing all aspects of implementation, from briefing channel owners to final campaign management, all while delivering an exceptional standard of client service.


What you’ll be doing:

Lead Campaign & Pipeline Management: Drive the end-to-end process for the Bespoke pillar of the Wickes Retail Media proposition, managing everything from the sales pipeline to campaign execution—including leveraging our third-party technology partner—to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact for brand partner campaigns, leading collaboration between internal teams, external agencies, and our third-party technology partner to ensure seamless development and execution that meets partner objectives.

Develop & Optimise Processes: Establish and refine efficient, scalable workflows for planning and launching Retail Media campaigns. This includes mastering our partner's technology platform to ensure all Wickes channels (online, offline, in-store) are integrated effectively for a cohesive client experience.

Oversee Campaign Activation: Manage the timely delivery of all client assets to respective channel owners and through our technology partner's platform, ensuring every campaign is executed on schedule, aligns with brand standards, and meets strategic business priorities, including the trading plan 

Champion Internal Communication: Proactively share details of live and upcoming Retail Media campaigns with the wider business. This will foster greater awareness and understanding of client objectives, campaign assets, and measurement KPIs across the organisation.

Deliver Actionable Insights and Reporting: Utilise both our own and our technology partner's platform to provide clients with comprehensive post-campaign analysis, including proof of execution and performance metrics. Translate data into unique insights and compelling case studies to drive client retention and new business.

Manage Commercial and Financial Operations: Maintain a robust tracking system for all client budgets and campaign spending, including our tech provider. Proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks. Oversee the entire financial lifecycle, from raising purchase orders to reconciling spend, to ensure accurate forecasting and timely payments.

Act as a Retail Media Advocate: Champion the Wickes Retail Media proposition, including the capabilities of our technology partner, both internally and externally. Continuously seek new growth opportunities and educate stakeholders on the value of our offering.


What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll be of graduate calibre with Retail Media Experience and significant marketing experience retail,  marketing or agency. You’ll be experienced in the development and production of full-funnel marketing campaigns. You’ll have high Commercial acumen and budget management and accountability, ensuring funds are focused on activities to deliver the strongest customer-centric comms plan. As well as this you’ll: 

Demonstrate cross-functional Stakeholder management to ensure multiple objectives are met

Lead & inspire peers and agencies

Be skilled at managing multiple Brand partners 

Manage multiple projects, ensuring cross-functional buy-in and senior leadership sign-off

Be highly collaborative and identify and build networks

Be naturally curious, creative and demonstrate strong problem-solving

Have strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills

Be ability to evolve & deliver documents such as Briefs, Business Cases, Management Reports, and Budget

Have knowledge of Retail Media technology platforms (e.g.Criteo, Citrus, Koddi, Epsilon)

Be comfortable with ambiguity
