The Role...
  • Managing the coach role to follow the Wickes customer journey in full, and in the most appropriate way for the customer (virtual, home or in-store) ensuring that they treat all leads the same way, irrespective of if they are store or web leads.
  • Constantly coaching to strive to achieve company metrics sales and service targets set out in line with the company expectations.
  • Actively seek feedback on performance and behaviours to improve overall sales performance of each individual coach and self.
  • Support the wider management team in ensuring key tools for managing the showroom are kept up to date with daily communication of where the customers are in the journey.
  • Build great relationships, enabling the coaches to call on a network of colleagues as and when required to maintain a great customer experience (e.g Installers, RIM etc)
  • Deliver training and updates to the coaches when needed in a timely manner ensuring 100% completion.
  • Supporting coaches to make sure they adhere to all compliance requirements ensuring that you remain compliant at all times to provide products and services for customers. You must adhere to company policies regarding refunds/amendments and finance applications. 
  • Keep up to date with product knowledge when new products are launched as well as using relevant tools when required (Product Zone etc). Ensure that mandatory iLearn modules are kept up to date and completed in a timely manner. 
  • At all times; take care of your health and safety and that of others by complying with health and safety obligations, and reporting promptly any defects, risks or potential hazards
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations at all times, ensuring customer data is kept secure.
  • Carry out on occasion and as directed, any other duties as required in addition to the above that will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.

The role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of turning permanent.


About you...
  • Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring
  • Someone who has experience managing Sales Coach/Training professionals
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence and your own car.
