We are looking to recruit a Security Support Analyst is to deliver comprehensive specialist administrative support, and produce and data analyse reports working at departmental level and coordinating with the department head to proactively identify internal and external theft, fraud and criminality.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Unit Reports
Using data maintained on the Security Incident Reporting System and the Security Case Management System, provide a weekly update on status and report on any risks and emerging trends.
Database Management
Manage and keep up to date the Security Department Security Systems Database
Collate and manage the completion of the Security Site Surveys
Manage the Security Systems installation spreadsheet in conjunction with the quotations and invoicing.
Maintain the project plan tracker for all store refits, and new constructions.
Facilitator
Arrange business unit and departmental meetings for the Head of Security
Maintain comprehensive electronic filing system
Filter any calls ensuring they are referred to the relevant person/function
Compose and issue banning letters as required
Manage the minutes and agendas for all team meetings
Investigation Support
Proactively use exception based reporting systems and fraud detection tools to identify emerging trends, risks dishonesty, profit erosion and shrinkage opportunities to support the investigations team and the Head of Security.
Arrange for the transcript of any recorded investigation interviews for tribunal hearings, Police or external agencies.
ODAS
Support any supplier queries re non payment of invoices, queries and provide a weekly report on the status of outstanding invoices to the Head of Security.
Match all Mitie invoices to the invoice tracker to confirm the security works have been completed prior to authorisation of payment. Check invoice values against the original quotation.
Department Webpage
Maintenance of the Business Support function web page by adding/deleting content as applicable
Contract Administration
Act as the contact for setting up of new contracts for store remote monitoring and the keyholding response and Connextd service.
Security Alerts
Compose and publish security alerts to the business and on the g24 portal, supporting the investigations team and the Head of Security
Lock Report
Obtain on a monthly basis the Lock report from Savills and manage any issues with replacement locks in conjunction with the keyholder response service.
Inbox Management
Monitor and manage the Security Department main email mail account
Evidence Requests
Extract and upload CCTV evidence requests and undertake any necessary redaction in line with GDPR legislation
What are we looking for:
- Evidence of learning qualifications at School (GCSE Level – C and above). English and Mathematics essential
- Proven administration support and analytical skills ideally within organisational governance and or the security or loss prevention industry
- Good knowledge of security crime prevention terminology (preferred)
- Appropriate understanding of practices and procedures within a corporate environment
- Ability to work within a high tempo, fast changing and dynamic environment with the skills required to prioritise
- Versatile and prepared to work alone and unsupervised
- Experience in using Business Objects and IntelliQ data warehouse and fraud detection platforms
- A good understanding of the workings of local policing, together with associated legislation e.g. GDPR, Theft and Fraud Act, Employment Law.
- Strong analytical, statistical and numeracy skills.
- Ability to write clear, factual and concise emails & reports
