The newly created Senior Digital Delivery Lead role reports into our Director of Digital Delivery, you will be accountable for the effective delivery of complex, high risk projects and services that are being led by the digital development teams. With your previous expertise in Agile delivery and product management, you will shape and manage cross functional project delivery across our scrum teams. 


The Role:
  • Responsible for defining project scope including, cross functional projects with the Heads of Engineering, Architects and scrum masters/Delivery Leads, capturing risks, issues, and dependencies. 
  • You’ll be working with agile teams, removing any obstacles, managing dependencies and tracking deliverables aligned with company goals and acting as the main point of escalation.
  • Proven experience of estimating, tracking and managing project budgets within an agreed target.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile and Waterfall Delivery framework to ensure delivery of documentation and training is essential.
  • You’ll have a good understanding of current and emerging technologies, and of how other enterprises are using them to drive digital business. 
  • You’ll have a good understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS toolsets

  • Exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in leading and motivating software development teams, 3rd parties both onshore and offshore.
  • Finance and budget management responsibility in excess of £500k.
  • You'll have good judgement, a sense of urgency and will have demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity.
  • A critical thinker, strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, self-motivated and possessing a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.
  • You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships at all levels and be able to influence.
