We're looking for a Stay Safe Project Manager to join the Stay Safe team for a period of 6 months on a secondment. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Stay Safe mission of Everyone home safe and well every single day. You'll be focused on leading or supporting safety improvement plan projects to reduce the risk we pose to our colleagues and customers. You'll possess project management experience, excellent communication, IT, and presentation skills, and be seen as a leader of safety behaviours within your current role.
This is a business wide role with a store focus which requires a candidate with excellent organisational, project management and communication skills. The role support our continuous safety improvement plan and will work closely with the rest of the safety team and key stakeholders across Retail, Distribution and Installations.
Key Accountabilities
Work with stakeholders to deliver key safety improvement projects aligned with our safety management framework and strategy.
Support our business wide safety risks registers and safety improvement activities
Provide guidance and coaching to leadership across the business.
Ensure the effective investigation of safety incidents and the implementation of actions to prevent a recurrence.
Deliver a variety of health and safety related training in accordance with our improvement plans
Deliver Safety assurance activities in accordance with the annual plan.
Act as a visible leader for the principles of Safety through personal leadership style set the right tone at the top and establish an open culture encouraging a high level of communication and employer participation both internally and externally on Stay Safe issues.
Additionally as part of the wider Stay Safe Team the role will:
Support the development and implementation of Business wide initiatives and activities including the development of new systems, tool and training.
Work collaboratively to share best practice and ideas
Support other Stay Safe Business Partners by adopting a flexible approach to inter-division working.
