Are you looking for your next opportunity within a profit protection role? Would you enjoy supporting our stores  through their Stock Accuracy Reviews and other stock accuracy initiatives?


We’re looking for a Stock Accuracy Coordinator to join our profit protection team covering our South East Region initially for a period of 6 months. You’ll be visiting stores within your region which require support and this will involve some overnight stays. A company car is provided and we’d expect your location to  be within the South Coast, South West region. We very much welcome applications from current Wickes colleagues.


As Stock Accuracy Coordinator you’ll promote, support and facilitate the program of Stock Accuracy Reviews (SAR), and ensure that stores are fully prepared on time for their SAR. You’ll support and drive all stock accuracy initiatives through coaching and support visits with stores. You’ll also engage and support regional leaders in reducing shrinkage. As part of the  Profit Protection Team you’ll be involved in driving down shrinkage losses by partaking in other profit protection related initiatives. 


What you’ll be doing:

Promote the SAR process across stores. Attend regional meetings to engage,support and coach on prep requirements and investigations around the SAR process.

Complete selected high risk store preparation visits in agreement with the Profit Protection Manager. Escalate stores or areas of concern to regional leaders, PPM.

Continuous review of 3rd party suppliers and store processes to ensure it is simple, cost effective and accurate.

Review current and create new training materials for stores to ensure complete understanding of prep and investigation processes.

Complete focus store visits in line with PP strategy

Regional leader engagement in all areas of PP, shrinkage, pricing, gaps.

Give focus and support to the department on all stock accuracy / Profit protection initiatives

Liaise with Regional Leaders and Profit Protection Manager on progress updates from visits and meetings


What we’re  looking for:

You’ll be an effective communicator and be able to build up relationships. You’ll hold a full driving licence and be able to plan your own time with strong project management skills. You’ll have GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English and be able to use Google Suite applications including docs, sheets and slides. Experience working in a fast paced customer service environment is required with inventory management knowledge and the ability to listen and coach and develop others.
