What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be managing the end to end supply of a specific group of products, across multiple routes to markets from the supplier through to the stores and directly to customers, whilst optimising availability and stock holding at all points in the supply chain. This will involve full understanding and communication of impact on costs, sales, capacity and service circa 1000 SKUs from c25 suppliers sourcing across UK, Europe and Far East.
What we’re looking for:
Ideally you’ll be of graduate calibre and have at least 2 years experience or equivalent in a supply chain role. If this experience is in retail or DIY it would be really beneficial. As well as this you’ll have:
Excellent communication and and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to report and present accurate information to show business impact and make first stage recommendations
Good knowledge of end to end planning processes and basic knowledge of distribution operations
Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to persuasively support your position with analysis, facts and arguments
