Key Responsibilities
Responsible for providing expert guidance and advice relating to information security, governance and data protection and being the company's Subject Matter Expert for everything relating to this field.
- Defining and Developing our policies, procedures and processes and updating regularly in response to the operational environment.
- Providing training, project and 3rd party support.
- Ensuring that the appropriate policies and structures are in place and meet the Wickes Security Policy.
- Maintain an awareness of regulation and best practice in Information Security and ensure that this is included within relevant policies.
- Being able to identify and manage any risks
- Implementation of new products and services by supporting the project teams with SME knowledge of security risk management
What are we looking for?
This is not a pure IT role, we are open to candidates having a background in Auditing and IT security.
- You must be able to demonstrate your security governance experience, most specifically within a large organisation.
- Industry relevant qualifications such as ISO27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent.
- Cyber Risk Management
- Understanding of Technical Security Controls.
- Industry best practice for cyber security
