Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our team based in our office in Northampton.

This will cover accounting transactions, budgets & forecasts, financial reporting, controls and business partnering. Support and a framework will be provided by the Senior Finance Manager, however the delivery and the day to day activities will sit in the role. There will be a strong sense of ownership and accountability. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all month-end processes including accruals & prepayments, generation of P&Ls, variance analysis and commentary for management accounts and board packs.

• Annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. Responsible for the full P&L

• Development of a consolidated financial and operational KPI pack and presenting it as part of weekly and monthly financial reviews with supply chain leadership teams.

• Balance sheet controls and reconciliations.

• “Weekly P&L Quicks” reporting.

• Risk and opportunities tracking. Proactively looking forward to identifying and managing financial risks and opportunities.

• Finance business partnering with supply chain managers, providing quality support and challenge.

• Other general finance support eg lease-or-buy decisions, appraisal of development opportunities and initiatives.

• Professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA  

• Previous experience of working in a Finance role  

• Line management

• Building and maintaining relationships with others to include key stakeholders and non-Finance team members

• Strong communication skills

• High attention to detail and data accuracy
