We’re looking to recruit new colleagues onto our established 18 month programme. The apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity within the trade sector, tapping into life and trade skills with mentoring support and, on completion, a nationally recognised qualification (Level 2 Fitted Furniture)

During your apprenticeship, you will work alongside a Wickes Approved Installer and will be installing Wickes kitchens into our customers’ homes. This gives you a fantastic opportunity to experience the working environment and put all of your learning into practice.
The formal training element of your apprenticeship will be delivered by our approved training provider WEBS Training Ltd and is focused on the technical aspects of fitting a kitchen, behaviour, customer services and setting up your own business. WEBS are a well established independent training provider serving the furniture manufacturing sector for more than 50 years.
Throughout your programme you will have a personal training officer, as well as support from your Line Manager, who can help you to plan your exciting future following your apprenticeship.

Alongside this you will need some other tools for the job:
- Excellent practical skills and an awareness of health and safety
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with good problem solving skills and ability to complete work to deadlines
- Great communication skills and customer focus
As an apprentice you will be required to travel to customer's homes, so it will be necessary for you to hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to work. It is also necessary for you to have business insurance in order for your application to be considered.
