We’re looking for a Brochure Designer to join us for a period of 4 months and work with our  Studio Manager to assist in the day to day delivery of all Brochures for Wickes.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver on-brand brochures and supporting launch graphics while pushing the boundaries for the brand.

  • Work closely with the Marketing Managers to deliver the brochures in line with the marketing strategy

  • Creating, preparing, proofing and checking print ready artwork of brochures, digital assets and POS across various formats. 

  • An ability to work on a number of projects at any time, prioritise and deliver ‘right first time’ output

  • Work with Studio Manager and brief owners to ensure briefs and feedback are delivered on time and drives the Wickes brand forward

  • A great understanding of digital and print requirements and their role in ensuring that final print ready artwork files are delivered on time, and ready to go

  • Maintenance of file management to allow effective file location, back-up, archive and transfer


What are we looking for:


  • Degree in design

  • 3+ years experience of working a busy creative department

  • Good working knowledge of InDesign, illustrator and photoshop

  • Skilled at creation of new artwork and assets and building them out to print ready artwork

  • Print experience - understanding and knowledge of preparing artwork for print, along with the different printing processes

  • Keen creative eye, able to recognise how to drive engagement and look at ways to push the brand forward 

  • Keen attention to detail, continually striving to deliver ‘right first time’ creative

  • Organised, able to manage time and project delivery 

  • Able to get to the root of feedback to quickly understand what needs to subsequently be done

  • Work alongside team members to ensure creative campaigns can work from a social/digital aspect

  • Knowledge of dynamic creative tools.

  • Understanding of creative best practice across print and digital formats
