We’re looking for a Customer Research Executive to join our marketing team on a 12 month FTC. As a Customer Research Executive you’ll work within the Wickes Insight function, playing a key part in helping  to deliver customer research, informing business strategy and allowing Wickes to put the customer at the heart of decision making. 


Key Accountabilities:

  • Planning, coordinating and administering of  market research projects

  • Management of primary research agencies

  • Supporting the Business by ensuring the customer is represented in business critical decision making

  • Competitor and Market awareness - being clear where Wickes sit in the market

  • Understand, analyse and distil a variety of data sources to make actionable conclusions and recommendations

  • Deliver the research in a clear and simple way and tailor it to various audiences.

  • Effectively manage multiple projects at any one time.


This is a great role for someone looking to learn and develop in this area. We’re looking for: 


  • Maths and English GCSE and education to A level standard, degree educated would be preferred

  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative research

  • Experience in customer research and project management

  • An understanding and interest in customer research

  • Ability to interpret a variety of data sources to come to a point of view

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A desire to deliver accurately and on time

  • An understanding of the retail environment would be beneficial
