Based in our Watford Support Centre, (with some flexibility to work from home); as our Digital Development Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the Product Teams within the Digital function to continuously improve our digital product offer for customers. You’ll be a digital native who has a passion for product development, innovation, fast paced delivery and change. You’ll lead product and development teams and work in a high demand / high focus environment. You’ll be an awesome communicator who can turn the complex into simple and engage equally with Senior Leaders, Functional Peers and a wider network of teams by showcasing great delivery of product and ambitious plans and strategy.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Build, manage and communicate the digital development plan and measure its performance
Work with the Digital Director to develop strategic and tactical plans to support the long term vision for the multichannel technology roadmap whilst delivering shorter term business needs and benefits
Prioritise the workload of the offshore digital development teams to maximise the output and efficiency of the development capability
Own the end to end development and delivery process for digital developments
Develop and maintain appropriate governance processes required to manage and prioritise digital development workload
Lead the Digital Steering Group - Senior forum tasked with steering the digital development plan and product delivery
Manage relationships with 3rd party agencies and development partners
Manage the development and progression of the team
As the successful candidate you’ll have experienced leadership of Digital Development in a retail environment. You’ll be a confident planner, communicator and presenter as well as commercially aware and able to articulate product development in terms of customer KPI’s.
