Role Purpose

  • To liaise with customers and work with the Driver, to make professional home deliveries of Kitchens and Bathrooms.
  • To maintain a high standard customer service and professionalism at all times.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Report promptly & daily to the transport office.
  • Ascertain the daily scheduled and  allocated work load for that day.
  • Gather all corresponding paperwork.
  • Ensure that the correct allocated PDA and printer are compatible for the appropriate route.
  • Complete a check of the stock on your allocated route.
  • Assist the driver to make the load and vehicle safe for use on the public highway.
  • Once en-route ensure that each customer receives a pre delivery eta telephone call.
  • Face to face interaction with customers must be conducted in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the delivery.
  • Follow at all times the company HDN procedure for completing home deliveries. 
  • Ensure that the delivery is made in full and report immediately any inconsistencies.
  • Throughout the day ensure that customer services and Planning departments are kept fully informed of any/all relevant issues.
  • Upon the return to base ensure that any returns are clearly identified and reported to the relevant colleagues.
  • Return all equipment and paperwork to the transport office.
