Are you an Ecommerce Trading Executive, maybe you are in a Commercial buying role or you are an Ecommerce enthusiast looking for that next opportunity.  Look no further, we're looking for an E-commerce Trading Exec to join our Digital Marketing and ecommerce team.  If you enjoy the pace and energy of a Retail environment which is collaborative, fun and inclusive, we would love to hear from you.

What will I be doing?
Reporting to our Ecommerce Trading Manager, you'll be responsible for the day to day trading and enrichment of our digital content and customer experience across our Kitchens, Bathrooms and Paint categories. Planning and leading the product range offers and promotions in collaboration with commercial and price planning teams to ensure the entire business is coordinated and aligned behind the business priorities. You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in some exciting projects!

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day website activity, product launches, proposition changes and content
  • Optimise the site and customer journey during daily site walks and data analysis
  • You’ll use merchandising tools to improve on-site navigation, search, customer journey, taxonomy, basket building techniques and product placement
  • Drive onsite promotion planning, promotions and extended range that complement the offering to increase sales, conversion rates, AOV and margin
  • Help analyse opportunities and trends to improve the customer journey, range and price by working closely with the commercial teams
  • Analyse and improve merchandising on the site and produce relevant reports using Google Analytics and Business Objects
  • Collaborating with marketing and design/digital experience teams effectively to ensure website content and communication is effectively displayed and consistent

What are we looking for?
  • The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role, maybe a commercial buying role or just have a great background in ecommerce and will have experience of working in the Retail sector.
  • With high attention to detail and accuracy, you’ll be methodical and tenacious in your approach.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar web analytics is desirable, not essential
  • An understanding of SEO, and the impact of actions on search visibility
  • With strong communication skills, you’ll love meeting new people and be able to build relationships quickly and collaborate with our cross functional teams
