We are seeking a Finance Analyst for Operations to join our Finance Team at our Watford Support Centre. The successful candidate will provide financial analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc financial support. They will also play a key role in developing and delivering an efficient month-end process.  

It is also imperative the successful candidate has at least 1 years experience in a Finance role covering month end reporting and debits and credits.

This role offers hybrid working, requiring the candidate to be in the Watford office 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management accounting for Stores and Operations (including Development Property costs, Salary costs, Legal costs, Store Variable costs), accountable for the month-end processes including accruals & prepayments, generation of P&Ls, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations including the analysis of risks and opportunities and monthly review with the Head of Operations Finance.
  • Supporting the Store teams by responding to P&L queries in a timely manner.
  • Risk and opportunities tracking. Proactively looking forward to identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
  • Reporting - ensuring accuracy of reports and to provide data to the Operations and Property team.
  • Regear modelling and supporting with new store modelling for Board approvals, revising assumptions and ensuring accuracy of model.
  • Cross functional working eg with VAT & FA teams to assist with any queries or analysis, to help the smooth, efficient working of the Finance function.

  • Part qualified in CIMA/ACCA, looking to complete their professional studies.
