We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to join our wider Finance Department in our Head Office in Watford.
The Finance Department has recently implemented ‘Oracle Netsuite’ as a new finance system. This role is required to support the system and manage the Financial Processes Administration.
It is a stand-alone role, and requires an individual capable of working from their own initiative and taking issues and challenges full cycle to satisfactory conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance of Core Chart of accounts:
Manage Change Request process for Cost Centre Structure & Cost Groups - additions & changes.
Manage Change Request process for Cost Accounts Structure - additions & changes.
Manage Projects set-up and access.
Maintaining System based Delegation of Authorities.
Approval Limit allocations & approval routings.
Review and audit end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
NetSuite User set up and maintenance:
Starters, Leavers & Transfer maintenance (driven from HR).
Manage users, provision roles and data access sets based on organisation-defined Roles, transactions, Reports and any custom permissions.
Include tailoring NetSuite seeded roles as per the business requirements.
Manage Periodic Accounting activities:
Manage NetSuite Accounting calendars - Annual & Monthly calendar maintenance.
Open/Close Netsuite Ledgers - AR / AP / FAR / GL.
Monthly Close Cockpit Co-ordination.
Categories maintenance - Actuals, Budgets, Forecasts & Prior-Years.
Lead all NetSuite Periodic and Year End Close activities.
Update and maintain NetSuite System Documentation and Finance Process Taxonomy including managing any change request process.
Co-ordinating any Ongoing user training and upskilling.
Update Quick Reference Guides and training material to reflect any process changes.
Monitor NetSuite data integrity, item and entity records. Ensuring functionality and quality of all data entry facilities (CSV imports, Master Data Tables, Transaction forms & templates
Netsuite and 3rd party vendors as required to resolve any issues.
Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving internal system issues - determining if training or technical issues, and raising any required support tickets, acting as liaison with Internal IT function / NetSuite / other 3rd party vendors to achieve quick resolutions whilst working with the finance team to ensure timely closure & communication.
Together with IT, liaising with NetSuite and other 3rd party vendors to support software updates.
Regression testing as necessary following any updates.
Editing documentation to reflect any new processes or systems enhancements.
What are we looking for:
Qualified Accountant - If not a qualified Accountant, then a good level of experience in a variety of finance operational roles.
Administration of Oracle Netsuite
2-3 years of experience in a similar role ideally with a finance focus
Finance System Implementation
Master Data Management
Data Cleansing
Data Migration
Software Testing
Roles Mapping
Good understanding of Master Data concepts and relational Databases
