We have a newly created and exciting opportunity for someone to join as Head of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing. As we embark on our 5 year transformation journey, we have created a new role, Head of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing.  Reporting into our Digital Director, you will lead our ecommerce and digital marketing teams and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute our online sales and traffic strategy, improve customer experience and increase online sales revenue, particularly in our stores and fulfilment. 

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for managing our e-commerce platform and ensuring that the website is up-to-date with the latest products, promotions, and content.  Analysing e-commerce performance metrics and providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team. 
  • Driving revenue growth, improving customer experience, and increasing customer volume and loyalty through our e-commerce channels.
  • You will drive our digital sales growth through the development and execution of a robust online trading plan which optimises the overall Commercial Trading plan.
  • With strong leadership across our Digital Marketing, Ecommerce, and Digital Analytics team, you will have the ability to encourage, inspire and challenge. Empowering, Coaching and developing our colleagues by maximising capability within the team, promoting high performance, creativity and better problem solving skills.
  • You’ll need to think data-first, have a growth mindset, reporting on performance and using data and insights to deliver continuous improvement plans to deliver improvements. 


What are we looking for?
  • A successful track record as a Digital Leader in a retail organisation, omni-channel or pure play would be advantageous.
  • As a digital leader, we’re looking for someone who will stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure that our online channels are competitive and innovative. 
  • With exceptional leadership skills you will have a proven track record in leading and motivating software development teams.
  • High level of personal integrity and show an appropriate level of judgement and maturity.  
  • Able to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions and locations. Be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
