We are now recruiting a Local Marketing and Sponsorship Executive to join our Core Communications Marketing team. This brand new role is an exciting opportunity for an executive who wants to further their marketing career and help to shape and deliver some very exciting projects.


Based in our Watford Support Centre, the role is to assist in the day to day delivery and management of our Local Marketing activity and sponsorship partners. Key responsibilities:


Sponsorship

  • Manage day to day credits and feature content to keep the partnerships fresh and existing 

  • Fulfil competition prices while also tracking budgets to ensure everything is delivered on time

  • Keep close to the commercial trading plan and range reviews so new product launches and key offers are supported in the sponsorships

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with sponsorship and agency partners 

  • Raise the profile of our sponsorships internally by working with internal communications/online so nobody misses the amazing work that is being done 

  • Ensure Senior Manager and Head of have visibility of the sponsorship comms plan

  • Support Senior Manager as needed with ad hoc projects 


Local Marketing 

  • Creation and management of the marketing plan to support new and refit stores

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all suppliers and agencies including: media, print, and signage

  • Work closely with the Studio Manager/Co-ordinator to ensure all artwork is briefed and delivered on time 

  • Track and manage all local marketing spend to remain on budget

  • Review performance of each store launch to ensure the plan is still fit for purpose 

  • Support ad hoc local marketing requests including competitor defence plans and building works

  • Ensure all internal teams including Store Format and Store Ops are aware of the marketing plans


What we are looking for?

  • Graduate level

  • 1-2 years’ marketing/work experience

  • Some knowledge of advertising and media preferred

  • Track record and building new relationships quickly and effectively

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver tight deadlines

  • Experience in managing/tracking budgets

  • Ability to prioritise and juggle different projects at once

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Organised, responsive and analytical 

  • A team player

  • Creative flair

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proactive, confident and resilient

  • Knowledge of Google docs
