Wickes is a digitally led, service enabled business currently undergoing extensive digital and data transformation. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Trade B2B Marketing Manager to join the team and help in supporting this journey. The purpose of the role is to own and manage the promotion, development and delivery of marketing and CRM activities (both digital promotional messaging, asset production and cross channel campaign creation) which support TradePro Contract Services (our new B2B function within the Wickes TradePro Loyalty scheme).
The successful candidate will be someone who can communicate and engage all levels of the business internally and to existing and prospective client organisations. You’ll have experience of working within a B2B and CRM environment while managing client expectations to deliver successful marketing activities. A confident, clear communicator and collaborative team player who is looking to work within a great team would be very welcome.
This is a new role which sits within the Digital & CRM Marketing Team reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing & CRM Manager. You will be required to work cross functionally with other teams in Digital, Marketing and Commercial, including Trading, Digital Experience, Development teams and the new B2B team while also working with stakeholders in our Marketing, Operations & IT departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, own and manage a central B2B marketing calendar to support promotion of TradePro Contract Services
Manage and support all B2B clients’ marketing requirements to promote the TradePro proposition to their members
Support onboarding of new customers to TradePro Contract Services to maximise sales, revenue and engagement
Responsible for day to day management, coordination, planning and delivery of marketing material, campaign creation and assets which support TradePro Contract Services
Ensure close collaboration with the Commercial B2B manager and external B2B clients on a daily basis to coordinate promotional activity which supports the trading plan
Ensure close collaboration with the TradePro CRM Manager and Customer Data Manager to ensure new client organisation members are tracked and reported on accordingly in our Customer Data Platform.
Develop and maintain a B2B marketing toolkit for use by clients in promoting TradePro to their members.
Working closely with the Marketing Insight and Commercial B2B Team to maintain a clear view of all TradePro Contract services customer signups and track performance
Ensuring all B2B marketing activity is on Brand and message working with the Brand Marketing Team for sign off.
Collaborate with the digital development team to ensure a scalable sign up approach to onboarding new members from prospective organisations
What are we looking for:
Excellent client management and communication skills
Excellent stakeholder management – ability to build relationships and liaise with business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues/risks
Proven experience of working in Marketing & CRM on behalf of external clients.
Proven experience of working with agencies and email service platforms
Good understanding of CRM and direct marketing channels including customer journey mapping and data planning
Self starter that can work under tight deadlines
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Strong project management and organisational skills
Knowledge and experience of Customer Data Platforms
Hands on experience of HTML (preferred)
