International Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates transgender people and raises awareness of discrimination. At Wickes our LGBT+ committee marked today by sharing the changes we’re making as a business to be a more diverse and inclusive place to work, so our colleagues can be their true authentic selves. From updated HR policies, new titles on our HR system to gender-neutral toilets as part of our store refit programme. We’ve also shared what it means to identify as a trans person, selfie pledges to show support, and some really interesting colleague perspectives, you can read Kit Rayne’s below.
