We’re a digitally led, service enabled business currently undergoing extensive digital and data transformation. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Manager to focus on our Customer Data Platform (CDP) to join our team and help in supporting our journey.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage the relationship with the CDP supplier both operationally and strategically;
Responsible for the ownership and day to day management of the CDP including both the campaign execution, segment creation and reporting modules/tools within the product;
Responsible for the CRM development roadmap working with CRM managers / broader digital to capture their requirements for new customer data points, making recommendations on how to meet these and briefing the CDP supplier to deliver/implement alongside testing and roll out;
Make recommendations on customer segments to target and support in data planning
Ensure the delivery of ongoing regular reporting and analysis of customer numbers through the CDP across lifecycle, mission and customer type applying automation where possible.
Ongoing collaboration with IT and Digital colleagues to ensure the CDP is maintained and connected to broader systems in tech stack - data lake, microservices, ESP, personalisation engine
Ensure all process & procedure documentation relating to DPIA, GDPR & the CPD is regularly reviewed and updated with any DPIA / GDPR management requests carried out in a timely manner (i.e. Right to be Forgotten)
Support all activities related to Data Protection & Security within Marketing; be the Customer Data marketing champion and represent Marketing at Data & Information Security Committee (DISCO)
Work with the Digital Insight & Analytics Manager to join up digital channels by leveraging 1st party CRM data in the CDP through the Google Marketing Cloud to support roll out of the Mission Motivation Engine (MME)
Work and collaborate with agency partners (CDP Supplier, CRM Agency, Analytics Agency, Digital Marketing Agency) to support the big objectives of the Digital & CRM Team
Budget management of the CDP as part of the broader Digital / CRM budget
What we’re looking for:
You’ll be someone who can engage all levels of the business to create, present and articulate the role of the Customer Data Platform in delivering a unified and single view of customers.
You’ll be experienced in managing the use and development of the CDP to support ongoing customer insight and ensure delivery of our multichannel CRM communications, designed to drive more customers to shop with Wickes. Experience using Acquia CPD is desirable.
You’ll be an experienced customer data champion, with hands-on operational experience of using CDPs to support and deliver business CRM marketing communications and an expert in data protection & GDPR. A confident communicator, collaborative team player who is looking to work with a great team would be very welcome.
